THE PERFECT DRESS

Since I got this dress back in the summer, I have been dying to show it to you guys! This dress from Ivyrevel has been one of my favorite dresses at the moment and it is so weird that I haven't got the chance to showcase it on my blog. It may come as a shock but the weather is so confusing in London! I never thought, not even in million years, that I would could wear lightweight dresses on October! Like what's going on here because November is approaching (so is my birthday which I can't wait)!

This dress on it own would be too much, so I did wore a really warm cardigan from Primark. It is crazy to think that it is from Primark because all my friends have guessed that I purchased from Zara. Not bad at all if you ask me! It is so comfy and chic which makes it the perfect cardigan!

TOP 5 BEAUTY FAVORITES

8 comments:

It has been a while since my last goodies post. In this post, I am showing my current favorite beauty products that I have been using for the past month. The first favorite is this amazing neutral eye shadow palette by Collection. The crazy thing about this is that the quality is really good and this only cost me £4! I could easily say that this is a great dupe for Urban Decay Naked Basics palette!

Before coming back to London, I went to Ecotools press meeting in Helsinki, where I also got the three new brushes for test driving. The first one on the left is a blending brush, the middle one is a concealer brush and the last one is just a fluffy brush which I use for bronzing, powdering and highlighting.

My next favorite beauty item is this Neutrogena's Visibly Clear 2-in-1 product which you can you use as a face wash or mask. I use this twice a week as a mask and it makes my skin so smooth and soft!

One of my favorite hair masks is this one by Maria Nila Stockholm. This product is truly amazing, because it makes my hair more thick, stronger and soft.  When I use this, I don't need my conditioner. P.s If you are vegan, this product is perfect for you!

The people whom invented this dry shampoo, thank you so much! This is by far my favorite dry shampoo in the world and fortunately it is also affordable. I wash my hair 2-3 times a week. May sound gross, but believe – my hair would be even more gross if I would wash it every or every other day. This bad boy makes my hair healthy and fresh looking, which is exactly what I am looking for when it comes to finding the perfect dry shampoo.

Sorry for lack of articles! Since Thursday, I have been under the flu but luckily I am feeling much better! My weekend pretty much was me editing hours and hours of youtube videos, but fortunately I was able to see Katja on Sunday, who also took these gorgeous pictures of me!

Last week was really casual, nothing special happen. This week, another hand, will be more exciting because on following Wednesday, I am going to a party where Pia Mia is hosting! I am so excited to take my friend there and I am sure we will have lots of fun!

THE BATTLE OF NAKED BASICS

6 comments:

I have been thinking of buying the Naked Basics Palette. Little did I know that Urban Decay has released Naked Basics Palette II. I am not sure will I purchase both of them because they are a bit expensive. Naked Basics has more warm and yellow-toned, bright hues which are perfect for everyday life! And you can make you makeup evening appropriate by using the black eye shadow. Naked Basics II has cool, taupe grey and browns which are great because I can use it also for my brows so I don't need to carry my brun eye shadow by Mac. I just feel like the colors are better for nighttime and not so much for daytime.

Do you guys have these palettes in your makeup collection? Which one do you prefer and why?

SELENA GOMEZ INSPIRED HAIRCUT

14 comments:

I love Selena Gomez. She slayed me to heaven ever since Wizards of Waverly Place. And now her music is better, stronger and mature than ever. If she doesn't get Grammy nominated for Good For You, I will be really sad because that song is my number one jam!
I cut my hair on Monday, and the result was actually really close to Selena Gomez's current haircut. I am really happy how my hair looks because it is more healthier looking than before. I even curled my hair with a new flat iron which I received couple of weeks ago so stay tuned for a review on that!

HOW TO USE: MAC STUDIO SCULPT DEFINING POWDER

6 comments:

Sorry for not blogging for two days. My wifi wasn't working so I couldn't update you guys. This article where I am sharing my tips on how to use Mac's Studio Sculpt Defining Powder is pretty spontaneous article to publish. My reason to share this video is because I saw people talking on youtube and forums about this powder and how most of the people there were confused about this powder and how it actually works. This is not an usual powder because usually you use a fluffy powder brush to apply a powder but that doesn't work with this pretty fine.

So in this short video, I sharing three ways to apply this gorgeous powder! This is definitely my favorite powder by Mac, because it is so light weight and doesn't leave your face looking cakey and heavy looking.

RUSTED DRESS

Hi guys! First of all, I just want to say that for couple of weeks I will be writing my articles in English. I don't know why is it so hard for me to write my emotions in Finnish. I can speak yes, but with writing, it takes an hour to put my emotions in place. So I hope that you guys aka my lovely Finnish readers understand!

So last week was interesting. It was almost 20 degrees celcius during the weekend which was insane! We are two months away from Christmas and I am still wearing dresses.

Last weekend I met up with Henrietta. She's a Finnish gal who is studying in London. We met during the weekend, and oh boy – I am so freaking happy that I met this girl. We have so many things in common and our interests are so similar, which is super cool and scary at the same time. Anyways, went for a little walk at the Oxford Circus and them we ate pizza and did some shopping.

And speaking of shopping. I went to Primark for a really spontaneous trip and found out that the place has lots of Zara looking clothes with a wallet friendly price tags. One of the clothes that I bought, was this gorgeous rusty red dress which in my opinion is the perfect dress for fall. This outfit is so chic and I literally felt like Blair Waldorf while walking down the street.
